Hosea 1:9 says, Then the LORD said, “Call him Lo-Ammi (which means “not my people”), for you are not my people, and I am not your God. Romans 9:25 says, As He says in Hosea: “I will call them ‘My People’ who are not My people, and I will call her ‘My Beloved’ who is not My beloved,” 26 and, “It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’” 27 Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the Israelites is like the sand of the sea, only the remnant will be saved. This calling, and putting away, and restoration of the Hebrew people is a fascinating subject and well worthy of study and understanding. Our identity is in Christ who called us Gentiles to provoke Israel back to salvation. Now is the day of salvation, regardless of who we are true descendants of, Christ is our only hope. Lord, I pray this man will be gently turned back to strong faith in Christ. Use him mightily to reach the lost. Equip him to minister and glorify you. In Jesus name
