September 7, 2018 at 8:08 amI am going through the process of divorce after 26 years. Though I supported him through his education and then was a stay home mom, he does not want to give me much money. Praying for favor in proceedings so I can do more than just survive. I know it is not all about money. His unwillingness to be generous in this area makes me feel disrespected, unappreciated as a mother and as his wife. I am so trying to get a new job to support myself.

September 7, 2018 at 1:24 pmFather in heaven, I pray for blessings and guidance for Ann as she seeks a job to support herself. I pray she will be able to forgive her husband for his lack of love and honor towards her. Shield her from any more pain. Help her look to you and be amazed at how much you love her. May she find a place of peace and be blessed by your presence. May she keep knowing her identity is in You and not in how her husband is treating her. “I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. Old things are put away. All things have become new.” I pray this husband may come to know Christ. In Jesus name

September 7, 2018 at 7:40 pmFather, I pray that You show Yourself to Your daughter here in a very tangible and powerful way so that she can truly feel her identity as—first and foremost—your beloved child. Give her peace, a sense of her worth in You, favor in the court proceedings, favor in her job hunting and prosperity. I pray for a softened heart for her husband so that—regardless of the short-term outcome—he learns to see her through the eyes of deep respect. I ask all this in Jesus’ blessed and powerful name.

September 7, 2018 at 11:33 pmLord, You know and understand the confusions of this world! Surround this mother with Your peace and reassure her that the court will not allow him to discharge his obligations to support his family! The children are his lifelong duty that cannot be discharged as easily as his marriage! Shore up this mother to insist on support that would maintain them in the same lifestyle! Strengthen these parents as they tighten their belts to suffer the consequences of breaking up a family but give this mother the fortitude to demand appropriate support for her children! Allow the financial burden of this time to be visited only on the parents as You surround these children with Your love and protection! Soften the hearts of this couple and heal their marriage as we know that You, Lord, hate divorce! We yield to Your perfect timing and pray for healing and strength towards Your Purpose is their lives! Amen

September 8, 2018 at 11:20 amAnn, I have been there. God provided for me in ways I never expected! He WILL do the same for you! Father, I thank You for being Ann’s provider. I thank you for giving her Your peace Lord, the peace that surpasses understanding. You know her needs and already have a path established for her to have them fulfilled. I thank you for softening her husband’s heart, Lord. Open his eyes to see what he is doing and bring him to a place that he is seeking Your will. Help Ann and her children see You moving in their lives Lord. Do not let hardness or bitterness grow in them through the divorce process, but bring forgiveness and restoration to these relationships, Father. Lastly Lord, remind Ann who You say she is. Let this help her to not feel hurt or less than because of how her husband appears treating her. Help her to remember we walk by faith, not by sight. Open her eyes to see Your love for her and your protection over her, especially during these difficult times. Lord, I ask that you would help her to feel your had on her in those lonely times. Thank you for giving her the strength to walk when she feels like she can’t Lord. Thank you Father for your love, provision, and protection over this family. I thank you for all you are doing in and through Ann.
