April 26, 2024 at 10:36 amHello family…My husband and I uprooted our life during Covid and moved from Los Angeles, California to Lynden, Washington. It was definitely a call from God because I told my husband and I told God many years ago that I would never leave Los Angeles because of my friends of 30 years and my brother. I knew how painful it would be to leave them. God made it very clear to me personally that he was calling us here and that’s the only reason I came. It’s been very difficult making connections and finding a church that acknowledges and worships the Holy Spirit. It’s a very small town & yet challenging to make connections. This town has a history of reformed churches however many of them are changing and some new ones are springing up, but it’s still hard to find one that is Holy Spirit filled with sound teaching. We are starting to make connections and have found one that does worship the Holy Spirit and the people, so far, reach out. But it’s a struggle to have left our friends behind, those who know you and have walked with you over 30 years. We’re still in touch of course but it’s slowing down. So my husband and I have felt pretty alone and a bit isolated. We’re in our early 60s and we don’t have children and I worry about our future. My brother and I cared for our mother when she had dementia the last five years of her life. The last year of her life was in a nursing home and we saw the kind of care she got so of course we were there every day. The last thing I would want for myself and my husband is to be in a nursing home at any point in our life. But without kids, that is an uncertainty. This is the kind of thing I think about a lot and in fear of it. Having taken care of our mom, I know how impactful it is to have someone caring for you who truly knows you. Nursing home staff don’t know you and don’t care for you in the way a loved-one would. There are of course many more challenges living apart from those who know & love us, but that is the one that worries me the most. I realize the way the world is going, I may not need to worry about it if the Lord comes back before that. But nobody knows the day or time. I would appreciate any prayers about this. I’m crying as I write this and my throat burns because I’m afraid. I know that God will be with me. I know that He will be there with me intimately and lovingly, but I still just don’t want to be in a wheelchair lined up along a hallway with my head in my lap. Lastly, we can’t retire because we have no retirement savings to live on, so we are working part time jobs & will start taking gov’t retirement soon. Thank you so much for your prayers.

April 26, 2024 at 2:23 pmMy dear Marygraphics;💕🕊️ I read your post and was moved emotionally. I know the void and how it feels when you move from a place you have lived for over three decades. I am glad that the Holy Spirit led you to move. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨🙌🙌When God speaks to you and you obey; He honors your obedience; even when things look hard; He is sure to work it out. I also have had to move twice; and lastly from Irvine CA to Georgia!! It didn’t feel good when we got here; but we trusted God and we are now connecting with good people; making new friends; having fellowship and sharing our own gifts too. You may need to step out in faith and begin to plug in. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ The lord will take care of your future. Jeremiah 29:11 is his plans for you. He knows it!!! Proverbs 3:5-6; and Phillipians 4:6-7 encourages you to trust in the lord and do not worry about anything. Let tomorrow worry about itself. God has a special way of rewarding those who wait on Him and do good to others. I pray that you and your husband will be in health and will not have to deal with healthy issues. 🙌 ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨I pray that you will live healthy happy and joyful lives. Please find activities for Seniors and join association that promote healthy living. Keep yourselves occupied and volunteer in a good church outreach for your wellness. Praying for your continued comfort and for joy to flood your lives. You can also live stream to Elevation Church and so many others around you. May the Holy Spirit lead and guide you. Will continue to pray for you. Be blessed and encouraged in Jesus name. Amen. 🙏 💕🙌🙏🙏

April 27, 2024 at 10:25 pmDear MaryGraphics, praying for you and your spouse. Asking the LORD to comfort you, give you His peace, wisdom, people and provision. Holding fast the scriptures from Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 ESV “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” 📓Father, asking You to comfort this couple, I thank You for the plans that You have for them as the sovereign, loving and great God that You are. Lead them by Your Holy Spirit let them know that they are loved yet are called to be as innocent as doves and wise as serpents. Give them the inroads to be a source of wisdom and encouragement to members of their new church family and people that You are sending them to. The harvest is indeed great but the laborers are few. Let them know that You have chosen them for a time such as these. Baptize and fill the afresh with You. Your Holy Spirit,as they wait upon You. Be with them as the great Shepherd that You are and let them feed Your sheep and lambs as You direct them in Your great kingdom plan. Let them know that they are loved and joint heirs in the family business and covered by Your great benefits unmatched by any earthly master. Perfect love casts out all fear, may they know they are Your blood bought children walking hand in hand with their heavenly Dad, Abba Father. Let the adventure continue with faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these things is love. We are pulling for you both and so is He, as He ever lives to make intercession for you. Christ in you is the hope of glory. May He be glorified in and through you and your loved ones… His sheep and lambs. God always keeps His promises, we must keep ours, holding fast to Him as the anchor of our souls. His grace is immense and overcomes our weakness and grows our faith that pleases Him. Enjoy the journey and your God. Amen.
