Praying that our Lord will gracefully remind your son of the vows that he and your daughter-in-law took before Him. “I, ____, take you, ____, to be my lawfully wedded (husband/wife), to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.” When many of us entered marriage we did not really know what we signed up for. “Romantic” can be part of it but not promised. May our Lord merciful open their eyes to His design for marriage and as they seek after Him may they find an even better relationship with God at the center bringing them closer than they ever Hoped could happen.
