My online friend’s spouse whom she has been married to for over 50 years has been ill for months. He has been in a rehabilitation center and in the past two months, has been hospitalized 3X. This last time was just this past week, very high fever, pneumonia and possibly other infection. He is still in the hospital today, February 15, 2019. My friend also has her own medical issues as well as is mostly in a wheelchair. They are both Christians and she and I just started listening to DAB and just love this app. We met through an online game and have everyone on our team praying for her husband because we believe in the power of prayer! I know that by posting this prayer requests, we can get many more prayers for her dear Edward. I would love nothing more than to get word that he has not only gotten well enough to return to rehab but that he has gotten well enough to go home! I don’t even know how long he has been away from home but I know it has been before September 2018 as my own husband fell and severely broke his leg in early Oct. and was away from home for 2 months and is home again, hers is not. Pray for my friend also because being the spouse and going through all of this is extremely taxing on the mind and body. Until you actually experience it, you have no idea how bad it is. You fight insurance, hospitals and rehabs for patient rights. You stay with your spouse to be sure they are being treated properly, forgoing taking care of yourself, missing sleep and meals.
