Prayer for Edith

    Please take a moment to pray for my sister Edith that she come to know the Lord, be delivered from New Age involvement, bitterness, immorality and hatred. I’ve been praying a long, long time for her. When I came to know the Lord she stopped speaking to me and continues this way despite many attempts to reach out on my part.

    Abba, Father! You are HOLY. We seek Your kingdom with all of our hearts and to do Your will as it is done in heaven. We need Your Word for sustenance more than food, O Lord, as Your Word says. We forgive as You have forgiven us because that is the principal of the kingdom. Lead us away from temptation and keep us from the evil one.
    Jesus, we rejoice over kasnyder77 coming into the kingdom O Lord! She has become a new creature in Christ. Alleluia! Give her wisdom and discernment that her new found faith will set her against those who do not Love You. Our new birth cannot be figured it out mentally or physically, it is spiritual and our eyes must be opened to it. It is foolishness to the eyes of one who lives in this world.
    We lift up Edith to You, O Lord, that her search in New Age activities lead her to YOU. Surround her with those who believe so that she will know that we are Christians by our LOVE.
    Coming to this Prayer Wall was very wise. We pray that the Lord of the Harvest will bring them in – sometimes without words – every chance we get, O LORD, we lift Edith to YOU because You have called her. Thank You Lord, that You LOVE Edith more than we could ever imagine – so we seek You to call her HOME the way that You have planned. We LOVE YOU, LORD! Praise Your Name!

    Heavenly Father, I join the circle of intercession for the deliverance of Edith from the clutches of the New Age movement. The deception of this movement requires that you open Edith’s eyes. Our words, our pleas and our logic often prompt a negative, bitter reaction from New Age followers because our belief in you requires submission to you as our only Lord and King. But you, Lord, know the words and the thoughts that will unlock the heart of every person in your creation to the truth of Jesus Christ. We stand before you unashamed of our insufficiency. Instead, we lay ourselves before you in full and absolute reliance on our need for you to speak to the heart of Edith that her eyes may be open. It is your power and your glory that must be manifest in Edith’s life. We pray that the evil one will be defeated in the battle for the life of this daughter because of the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. In your mercy, draw Edith to the truth of your lordship in her life.
