Prayer for forgiveness and grace within families

    I messed up. I was way to harsh in my dealings with my oldest teenage daughter. I have since confessed and requested forgiveness in prayer and with my child. But the enemy sure does delight in these sins because I am having difficulty shaking pride (she deserved to be slapped for her mouth and disrespect) mixed with guilt (how could you hurt her in your anger. What a horrible mom. Every good thing you are working for in her is crumbled. Shell never trust you again, you hypocrite.) Dude! Shut up, Evil one! For Gods mercy is new every morning!! I did wrong and didnt discipline her in love, I am forgiven, she is precious and although I am not the perfect mom, I AM a GOOD one, so no, I do not need to dwell on this guilt. Please, join me in prayer. Lord, thank you for these beautiful, precious children. Thank you, that you have allowed me the gift of raising 2 daughters. Thank you also, for your forgiveness for when my sin takes over and I fail to show and instruct Your children that you have gifted me with in full kindness, love and patience. Heal her emotional wounds that my yelling and slapping caused. Show her that You Love her far greater than any human can. Remove our guilt and pain and restore our relationship. She is so precious to me. Holy Spirit help us (All parents of teenagers) to be wise and controlled when our teens push our buttons. Help us see and recognize when and how to properly respond during times of conflict between parent and teen. We lift our teenagers up to you. Holy Spirit guide them through wisdom as they make decisions, insteuct them in kindness, grace and mercy. Thtabk you for forgiveness of sins. Thank you for your mercy, Lord. I need you. You are so holy. In Jesus Name.

    Father in heaven, Thank you for the gift of forgiveness as soon as we run to you. Help these daughters see that although their mother is imperfect, as we all still sin, she turns to the one who can restore her immediately and does not walk in darkness of guilt. Lord, we know when children disrespect their parents, they dishonor you also. Honor your father and mother that your days may be long on this earth still holds. I pray for protection for these daughters and the DAB children who spend hours away from their parents with peers who have absorbed attitudes of the world. We are not our own, we have been bought with a price. Hallelujah! We do not have to be in charge. You are sovereign. Even these children, we can surrender to you knowing you will take better care of them then we possibly could. Bless us with a peaceful mind as we walk in humility before you. Help this dear mom stay strong in trusting you to rescue her children from all harm, danger, and evil. Help her to bear the offense if it must come. Keep her eyes on You. May she hear your voice saying, This is the path. Walk in it. The victory belongs to You. We praise your Holy Name. In Jesus name

    I pray to you God, that you rid sablincoin1 of all guilt and pride. Thank you for teaching us the way of forgiveness. We are grateful to you God, for blessing us and teaching us to let go of sin, anger, and bitterness. I pray that you bless this family, and let it all work out. Thank you for healing the emotional wound of sablincoin1`s daugther. Bless both of her daughters to trust in you God, and to follow you. Amen.
