Brokenhearted MamabearPrayers: 25Requests: 28
August 3, 2020 at 12:43 pmDear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I ask for prayers for my husband. Whenever he drinks, the next day he is full of anger and takes his anger out on me and the children. It breaks my heart to see him become so angry and he has no idea what a tyrant he is. He becomes very impatient and yells at us for the tiniest of things. Everyone only sees his jolly self when the alcohol is giving him a false sense of happiness but over the next few days we walk on eggshells not knowing what will send him into a rage. I wish he would stop drinking for our sake. It is a horrible experience to endure as someone else witnesses his withdrawal symptoms from the alcohol leaving his system. Please pray for us. In Jesus’s name. Amen.

August 3, 2020 at 2:02 pmAbba Father!! Surround Brokenhearted Mamabear with Your everlasting arms. Let her and her children sense that You see them. You know their suffering. Give Brokenhearted Mamabear Your wisdom to navigate this situation and get them to safety. Verbal and emotional abuse is as bad, or worse, than physical. Provide for this family miraculously and send true friends who will help. O Lord, we lift them up to You today that they may be free from the enemy’s clutches.
Lord, we ask that You arrest this husband, give him a strong distaste for acohol . Allow him to see how he looks to his family and the pain he is causing. Yes, Holy Spirit, give him a repentant heart.
We wait upon You, Lord as you provide Your wisdom. We wait upon You. and Praise Your Name!countingonjesusPrayers: 1025Requests: 27

August 4, 2020 at 12:19 amFather, we lift up MamaBear to You. We pray Lord that you will by Your power, deliver this man. Countless others have been set completely free from alcohol, including yours truly. Some times, deliverance is the only cure. We ask that You have mercy on him, and drive out the demonic forces that are holding him captive.
Lord, break through the fog that comes along with a person who is an out of control drinker. In his moments of clarity, let him feel Your conviction. Show him the hurt, and the pain and sorrow, that he’s bring to his family. Father, allow Godly sorrow to consume him, and break his heart over how destructive his drinking has become. Show him in no uncertain terms, how his actions are destroying his family. Lord, by Your grace and Your mercy, reach into the pit of despair, and rescue MamaBear’s husband. We ask in the name of Your dear Son Jesus. Amen!

August 4, 2020 at 3:17 amStanding in agreement with these prayers for deliverance from alcohol and all its harmful ways. Jesus, pour Your blood over this family and bring healing by Your mighty power. Lord, give our sister wisdom to know what is her next right step. Dear Sister – As one who grew up in alcoholic home AND one who has fought this demon in my own home, I can tell you this: EVERYONE LOSES! As long as the drinking continues, pain is being inflicted each and every day. No one should have to live in the fear that you and your children are experiencing. Here’s what I wish someone had told me earlier in my battle: pack a bag, get your children and leave. Go somewhere safe. Tell him why you are leaving. Tell him that you desire to have your family whole and healthy. In order for that to happen, he must renounce all alcohol, attend an AA meeting once a day for at least 6 months, get a sponsor, see a Christian counselor. Now is the time for him to show that he loves his family – in deeds, not in words. And then have NO COMMUNICATION with him. Don’t call him, don’t text/email. Don’t accept calls/texts/emails from him. In this you are giving him the time and space to decide what he wants more: his family, or the alcohol bottle. Press the issue. Don’t be soft about it. You and your children are depending on you to be their Warrior Champion! IMHO You are in my daily prayers as you fight the good fight. You CAN win! Blessings, Gail

August 4, 2020 at 11:02 amYes, Lord, have Your way in this family’s life. We know from our sister’s prayer request that they need Your help desperately today. May today be the day that her dear husband starts to turn his life around. May he be absolutely disgusted by the smell of alcohol such that he turns away from it. Bless him, Lord, because we know You do not desire for him to live under this bondage. Restore him to a sane mind and a commitment to love his dear family.
Lord, help our sister to see the things that she can do to lovingly apply pressure to him in this situation – for his good, their children, and herself. Perhaps today she can calmly inform him that she will no longer do his laundry, or cook meals for him – whatever You direct her to do. Give abundant wisdom and courage, Lord. August 5, 2020 at 10:52 amContinuing to pray — Lord, may today be the day that the scales fall from the eyes of this dear husband/father so he can see the damage he is doing, to himself, his dear wife and their children. Break his heart for the knowledge of the wounds he has inflicted. And we know, Lord, that, with You, healing can begin. May this healing start today we pray. Blessings

August 5, 2020 at 1:38 pmLord, let today be the day of deliverance. Remove the dark clouds that have blocked the sun light of Your love from penetrating his heart. Lord Jesus, let Your kind, loving, gentle Spirit, radiate Your healing, cleansing power to this dry and thirsty soul. Set this captive free! by your grace, and mercy.
Let today be the day when the darkness fades. And that the brightness of Your shining is seen. And a life is forever transformed.
In Jesus matchless name we pray. Amen!

August 6, 2020 at 6:22 amFather in heaven, We know you have rescued other men from alcoholism. You can rescue this man also. We ask that You lead him, bring him to You. May he confess his sins against You, himself, his children and his wife. May he be totally cleansed and made new in You. I pray you will begin a good work in him. May alcohol be totally repulsive to him, May his old jolly self be totally repulsive to him. Prepare a Christian to witness to him to bring him to Christ. In Jesus name
