prayer for making a decision

    please pray as I probably need to change Bible study small groups. The small group leader was without compassion this evening, she is not the person I thought she was, so this will not be a safe group for me going forward. please pray I will recognize God’s leading as to which group to go to. thank you for any prayers.

    Praying. Father, asking for Your guidance and the leading of the Holy Spirit on this. Let all parties be seeking and loving You. Thank You for Your wisdom concerning this matter and ask that there are hearts that want to exalt You and grow, studying Your word, and being kind to one another, a fruit of Your Spirit. Galatians 5:22-26 ESV says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” Praying for this Dabber to find a good fueling station, ready to go and not one that is a fixer upper… She needs leadership that reflects the heart of a shepherd and maybe a little less of a drill sergeant. Help her to find a place where the sheep are led and not driven. Give her Your wisdom in this situation on what to do or where to go. We trust in You, LORD, and follow Your word and good direction where you are leading and approach this decision with humility and the fear of the LORD. We acknowledge that there are no perfect leaders, but You, and there are no perfect followers but Christ. Please guide and lead this Dabber in the decision she makes that You would receive the most glory and that Your kingdom and character would be established. Let there peace and strong confidence moving forward, knowing the will of the LORD and doing it in faith. May You, LORD, get all the glory and may every witness of our dabber’s faith and obedience be a blessing to them all in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

    Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today with grateful hearts, recognizing that you are the King of righteousness, and your throne is one of grace and mercy. We thank you for the spear of mercy and grace that you have extended to us, penetrating the darkness of our lives and bringing forth redemption, forgiveness, and transformation.

    As we focus our eyes on Jesus, we ask that you help us to tap into the specific types of mercy and grace that we need in our lives. We pray for your mercy and grace to be present in all areas of our lives, especially in our relationships.

    We ask that you help us to extend mercy and grace to those around us, especially in our relationships. Help us to reconcile with others when conflicts arise, promoting love and unity. We also pray that you would give us understanding as we seek to extend mercy and grace to others. Your word says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). Help us to understand that extending mercy and grace means choosing love and understanding over resentment and extending grace to others’ imperfections.

    We thank you for your mercy and grace, and we ask that you would continue to pour it out on us and those around us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

    Father in heaven, I pray you will guide deb in her decision of staying/changing Bible study groups. I pray she will find a compassionate leader. You understand all her needs. Bless her with wise counsel. In Jesus name

    Praying God gives you the wisdom that you are seeking. He says we only need ask and doubt not in our hearts… Grant wisdom Father as You promised that You would. And give our DAB sibling faith to receive. In JESUS Name. Amen! ❤
