Prayer for my son

    I am asking for prayer for my son. He is about to be a first time father with a woman that he does not have a good relationship with. My prayer is that my son is able to move past the anger and resentment he has about this situation and focus on what is most important, the baby. I pray that he will mature and open his heart to the baby and make the necessary changes to be a loving, active father.

    Dear Lord Jesus,
    Please make his heart soft for his baby. Help him see how special this life is, how beautiful it is and how he is needed as part of it. Please help bring peace to him and his way, let him not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good. May he know your direction by the peace he feels, may his actions that are inline with you bring peace and joy to him. Please let him slowly experience a great joy at such a time of blessing. Please protect this young life and this family at they work out a way forward in your love. Amen

    Thank you for the prayers. The baby was born this morning and is a healthy, beautiful baby girl. Please God please continue to watch over my family and heal my sons heart so he can fully embrace this wonderful blessing. Amen

    Dear Lord may the love of this child soften the hearts of all involved. Please let this little one be a special conduit enriching their lives. We pray for your perfect presence and your saving grace will follow this blessed child all the days of its life.
