Our Pastor is the son of Ross Gotchal. Pastor Kevin, or as we affectionately like to refer to him as PK. well, his Dad is recovering from open heart surgery. Father, We bring our man of God to You PK. There is a great amount of responsibility on his shoulders. You have placed much on his plate, with the care of the church. On top of that, He’s being affected by his Dads slow recovery, in ways that only You truly see Lord. He continues to shepherd the flock that you have place in his care. The man, is a true Pastor who authentically loves people. With love and compassion, that flows from a steadfast relationship with You Father, never skipping a beat.
To the un attentive eye, for all intents and purposes, there is nothing that would seem to be amiss. Only those who are closest to him can tell there is a heavy load that he is carrying. We pray Father for the Comforter to give him rest. Strengthen him with might in his inner man. Hide him in the secret place of your pavillion. Father, calm any fear that may be attempting to harass him, where his Dad’s health is concerned. Most of all, let those who love him, make an extra effort to show it right now. We cover him with the shalom of God. And declare stillness, and calm over him. And that the peace of God, which passes all understanding, would rule over his heart, and mind.
