My Brother Jeff,

You have done the right thing to seek God while he still may be found. Also thank you for clearly explaining exactly what happened. As you know we have a ruthless enemy who steals, kills and destroys.

When you backslid what literally happened is that you OPENED the door for the enemy to launch his attacks ( HE HAD LEGAL RIGHTS TO ATTACK YOU). Now that door MUST be slammed SHUT for the attacks to cease.

Return to God with ALL your heart and ask for his forgiveness. You need to TRAVAIL in prayer. Fasting is an added PLUS if you truly want to see change in your life and that of your family.

Here is how I suggest you pray:

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to you as a prodigal son. I am sorry that i walked away from you . Lord cleanse me from all my unrighteousness. Lord in the time of my IGNORANCE i opened the door for the enemy and have since then SUFFERED numerous losses. Lord as your LEGITIMATE son I choose to SHUT that door that I opened to the enemy in the name of Jesus!!

Lord I purpose from this day on to walk the narrow path that leads to eternal life . I have seen what walking away from you does . I have not felt your protection since I walked away from you . Lord please have mercy on me.

Father as your word tells me in the Book of Psalm 91 that because I have made you my dwelling place no evil shall befall me .( read the whole of it)

9 Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—
the Most High, who is my refuge[b]—
10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.

Therefore Lord from TODAY I choose to make you my dwelling place! I choose to love you for you will DELIVER and NO PLAGUE will come near my tent as promised in the book of Psalm 91.

Lord please forgive on the basis of your mercy. I purpose to start a close walk with you , so I can feel you TRULY in my life.

In the name of Jesusb , I PLEAD the blood of Jesus over my entire family and ALL that pertains to me. Lord put a WALL of FIRE around me and my family. Lord shield me with your POWERFUL angels so no evil can touch us .
Lord let your blood now be drawn as the BATTLE line , for this battle now belongs to you ! I have surrendered everything to you and I know you will WIN this battle!

for accepting me back into your fold. I am now a NEW creature for OLD things are past away, behold ! All things have become new!! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!

Father, we pray for our brother, Jeff today – for his and his family’s protection from the evil one, from theft, from every attempt to prevent them from returning to You and to Your church. As the leader of his family, gird him with Your mighty strength and help him have absolute determination to return to worship and his local church. If necessary, help him put his head down, against the attacks, and drag himself and his family back to church no matter how difficult. We thank You for his openness and honesty; many of us have been where he is. We stand against the enemy in the holy name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Get away from Jeff and his family, get away and don’t come back. You are not wanted nor welcome here. Spirit of the Living God cover Jeff with Your Presence, cover him with Your Holiness, cover him with Your Righteousness. Lord Jesus, cover him.
