Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe who teaches us in Numbers 22 that You are able to turn the curse into a blessing. And who teaches us in all of the gospels that You are able to take the evil that was meant by the cross into the greatest hope for all of mankind. You, Lord are mighty forever! You raise the dead, You are mighty to save. You sustain the living with grace, resurrect the dead with abundant mercy, uphold the falling, heal the sick, set free those in bondage and keep faith with those that sleep in the dust. Soveriegn Lord and Master of all mighty deeds, we ask that You take hold of the hearts of this 16 and 18 year old and turn them around. Show them that the father’s love and acceptance that they might be seeking in their earthly father can only fully be found in You our heavenly Father. Heal them of whatever pain, rejection and confusion they might be feeling. Show them that whatever freedoms they might believe they will get in a home without the boundaries set by a loving and Godly father are only illusions. Lord, speak directly to their hearts through Your Spirit and teach them that the only true freedom comes from accepting Jesus as Lord, Master and Saviour. Speak also to the heart of their earthly father and turn what might be stone into flesh. Give him the unearthly wisdom to say, in love, “no” to this daughter if she asks to come live with him. Give him the unearthly boldness to confess to himself, God and his children that he has sinned by failing in his duties as father and to repent and to rebuild right relationships with You first and then with his children. When he does this let his daughter discern it to be right and true and good and not another rejection of her. And Lord, I lift up this mother and ask that you help her to do all that she does for her children with love. Love of You above all else and love of others as herself. I pray for healing for this mothers heart and for the heart of the woman and the girl within who might have been broken by past relationships. Restore her into a right and unbreakable relationship with You above all else and then restore the relationships between the children and their mother. All of this we pray with the hope and expectation that You have given us by Your Love that endures forever and Your promises that You are faithful to fulfill. All this we pray in the name of Jesus our Lord who in Himself is the fulfillment of all of Your love and promises. Amen and Amen.

Abba, how you love this child O Father, give peace to mom, allow her to walk in truth. Bring salvation to the house of her ex O Lord. Bring her boy into the Kingdom O Lord, and give this young man a distaste for this life of choice. Open his eyes to the path he is on. Allow his sister to see the truth for what it is. We press in O Lord to stand in the gap and not allow the enemy to have his way. Lord show us Your way Jesus! How do You want to redeem this situation? We wait upon You because we have nowhere else to go. You are God and You are in control. We wait upon You and Praise Your Name!

Holy Father, hold these young adults in the palm of Your hand and guide them to You. Let them hear Your voice over Satan’s so they make right choices. Bless their mother and give her strength. Bring peace to this family. In Jesus’ name I ask this.
