June 19, 2022 at 7:27 pmHello DAB Family! It is good to be here walking through God’s Word with you all and praying for you all – both generally and specifically as the Lord leads. And it is good to know that when we have a need we can reach out and be supported by others in prayer. Today I have a few requests that I would appreciate your prayers for: 1) I have a sister in Texas named Valerie. I have been praying for her salvation. She really fights against the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and the enemy of all that is good does his best to mess with her mind. 2) Please pray for my church: Good Shepherd Community Church in Columbus, Ohio. I have never been a part of a church with circumstances like this, and am praying for its health and revival, and that the Lord would do something only He can do is such a place – that the community it sets in would see the Lord through it and come running to Him. 3) I would appreciate your prayers for me and the ladies of the small group I’m heading up: Forward JOY. I’m asking the Lord’s hand upon me and that He would grant me the wisdom and leadership to love and minister to these dear women, and that He would work His purpose into our lives in life transforming ways. 4) And please pray for me. I have been unwell for nearing a year – no diagnosis yet – and there is not one area of my life that has not been touched by it. I KNOW that the Lord is more than able … and while I would very much like to be made well again on all accounts, I am trusting in the Lord’s good will and timing. He does not waste a moment of our lives. May His purpose in all of this prevail above all else. Thank you all very much. Tiffany

June 19, 2022 at 9:39 pmFather, Thank you for hearing & answering our prayers for Tiffany. We pray that You give her doctor Your Wisdom in diagnosing & treating her illness. Please set Valerie free from all the deceptive lies from the enemy. Open her spiritual eyes and turn her from darkness to light…. Acts 26:18. Take away her stony heart & give her a heart of flesh to thirst after You as her Lord & Savior. We pray for Good Shepherd Community Church that You keep the Pastors & Body of believers rooted & grounded and Strengthen in Your Word with Courage in witnessing with boldness in their community. June 23, 2022 at 7:33 pmFather in heaven, I pray for healing for Tiffany. There is no progress in knowing what is wrong. Please touch her mightily so this malady is blasted away from her. Thank you for this women’s group Forward Joy. May it be a blessing to all the women who are there. We have so much to be joyful about. You have rescued us from sin and death and promised us a glorious future with you. Praise God. Help us keep our eyes on the road posts you have given for the journey: Be Kind. Be Good. Be Gentle. Be Faithful. Be Self-Controlled. Be Joyful. Be Peaceful. Love. May your blessings rest upon Good Shepherd Community Church. May all your will be done. And, Lord, I pray you will send a faithful witness into Valerie’s life to speak truth in a way she will be able to listen. Open her ears, her eyes, her heart. Help her ask the honest questions that You are the only answer to. Be glorified. In Jesus name

June 26, 2022 at 4:44 pmMany thanks for your prayers! Forward JOY met for the first time on Saturday, June 25. There were 6 ladies present, including myself. All were very receptive and interactive. This morning at church I was approached by two other women expressing interest in the group. This first get together was mostly informative, but we did have a devotional from Philippians 1:3-8, with a good look at the heart of Paul for the people he wrote to – what loving compassion he had in his heart for the people he prayed for and served – Paul held these people in his heart with the very affection of Jesus Christ. Praying for that kind of heart for these ladies and this church … and beyond. Thank you all for your prayers concerning my sister, Valerie. Believing and trusting in the Lord for her salvation. He is my hope for her. And thank you all for your prayer for me. It is a blessing to be a part of such a powerful praying community of believers. Our God is such a GOOD God!
