June 11, 2020 at 6:16 amI have had a great relationship with my son I raised him alone with the help of family. Recently about two years ago I met a man that I was raised with in church but that we had both gone our separate ways. We got married a year and a half ago. My son is 35 and we have lived together all the time. He has not allowed himself to get to know my husband though my husband does try. My husband does have different ways than my son and I, like he’s not very neat and he is struggling looking for a job here in New York City where we live. My son on the other hand seems to think that he is just not trying as both my son and I are very very neat people. I don’t know what to do because I do believe that there is some sparks of jealousy and an interruption of our very close relationship. My husband does not mind doing any kind of work in order to help me and my son. I am working full-time I am an essential worker so I have not been out of work at all. My son has found a job but as I said he feels that our closeness has been interrupted. He tells my mom that we just don’t have enough time to speak, which is not true. So I asked for prayer for him he’s also struggling as he’s waiting for a particular job and because of Covid the application process has been slow down a bit. So I know he has a lot of things on his mind. I did raise him in the ways of the Lord so I know God‘s promises are faithful and true. I just asked for your prayers for him and I and my husband. I pray that my relationship with my son and my husband become if not one of father and son but at least mutual respect and honor as a human being older man. As for my brother he has suffered in these last three years the loss of a job the loss of his home and the loss of a marriage he has also been estranged from his daughter which is not from the marriage.. he has fallen into a tremendous depression and he has a lot. And because of his age he does not seem to have an easy time finding a job. He is a financial analyst and has worked that type of job for nearly 30 years. Unfortunately even though we live in New York City which is the financial hub of theStates he is not having any luck finding a job. And the jobs that he does seem to find they are all in New Jersey

June 11, 2020 at 10:20 amStanding in agreement with these prayers. Have Your way, O Lord. Unite this family. Heal the strain between mother, son and 2nd husband. Help this husband find an excellent, full-time job, and that he works at it as if working for You. Help the son get a positive word this week about the job he is waiting on.
And for the brother, Lord, give him wisdom to navigate these several, intense losses. May his relationship with his daughter begin to be rebuilt. Give him the best job of his career and one that is close to home. Blessings

June 11, 2020 at 1:54 pmYes, Lord, you see the needs here. Thank you that you are so much bigger than all of our problems. Lord, i ask that you would help the son and the husband to have a better relationship. Help them to be able to look past the personal tidiness issues.
Lord bring peace to the situation. Help her son to accept the fact, that you and your new husband are going to build a life together. And that he should give you the space to do so. And that maybe, he should keep his opinions about your husband to himself.
Father help the three of them to walk in love with one another. And the husband and son to be able to find some common ground. and learn to respect one another.
Father restore her brother. Return to him all that the enemy has stolen. Restore his relationships with his daughter. Lord, you are good at making lemon aid out of the lemons we experience in life. Turn things around like you did for Job. He ended up with double in his latter end. let all see that it was you Lord, that turned his life around. To you be all the glory!Bless! this family with unity, and peace.
In Jesus name.
