My request is for healing of my relationships with my family and my husband’s healing after recent surgery. Please Father restore my loving family….my brother, 2 sons, daughter in law, and step daughters/family. We have been so close in the past I am sole caregiver to my 85 year old husband. He is diabetic and has had heart triple bypass surgery, a stroke with dementia and just had major small bowel obstruction surgery. The doctors recommended aa rehab facility but with dementia, he would have to go to a Skilled Care facility so I brought him home due to past negative experiences. I am 72 and am alone in this although family is near. I’m not sure if they realize how difficult our situation is since they too have things they deal with in their own lives. I pray that God helps me find resources to support me/us to get out to refresh,keep up with my home responsibilities, and stay healthy. May he help us financially as well to relieve the debt burden of these years. Please pray especially for my husband’s health. His appetite is waning and he tires easily. In spite of the fact we are to receive therapy at home and home heath aids, we have not received the services consistently enough to see improvement. I thank God for our many blessings and my husband’s happy disposition and gratitude for being home with me. He has given me the grace and strength to be a loving caregiver!
