Abba, Father! You are HOLY; we worship You. We seek You Lord, to see Your Face more clearly, Your kingdom first and to do Your will as it is done in heaven. Your Word, Father, feeds us, sustains us and allows us to walk in obedience to Your commands. We forgive today because of the great debt You have forgiven us. We ask that You lead us away from temptation and keep us from the evil one. We pray for our husbands, O LORD, to open their eyes to the Truth of Your Word and the Place that You have deemed they take in the kingdom, in their families and in their communities. We love You Lord and thank You that our steps are ordered and that You walk with us as we invite You in. Praise Your Name!

Father God, people routinely think if there is a couple where one is an unbeliever or has fallen away from you, that the unbeliever or the one which has fallen away must be the husband; but You know that this is not always the case, Lord. In my church there are two couples who struggle with this problem, and in both cases, it is the wife who is either not fully submitted to you, or has completely fallen away from the church and from you. It is like wearing leg-irons to be with such a woman, and we need your strength to persevere, Lord. Forgive us for not ensuring that we did not marry women who weren’t fully submitted and committed to your service. We know we have sinned. But we do not believe that the cop-out of divorce is what you would have us do, and therefore we pray for our wives, and ask that you would equip us with all we need to endure the hardship, O Lord. Equip us with the love and strength it takes to love women who do not walk in harmony with our desire to worship and serve you; loving your statutes and your ways, O Lord. We love you and wish to serve you unhindered. Please press on the hearts of our wives, that they would come to have the same zeal for You as we do. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, it is a joy to stand before you this day to seek your face, and to bask in your glory. I stand in agreement with the prayers above because certainly no prayer could be more pleasing to you than multitudes of voices asking asking you to bless our communities with spiritually strong husbands and wives who can be the foundation of our homes and our churches. Father, I pray that neither husbands nor wives abdicate their calling to be followers of the most high God, and leaders on your behalf in their homes and communities. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray that you would release your armies of angels to do battle against the enemy who works persistently night and day to destroy the homes of believers in order to undermine the work of the church. Father, do not allow Satan to have even a moment of victory in his battle for believers or their homes. I give you all the honor and the glory for the actions you are setting in motion each day as you hear our prayers to heal our homes and churches from the ruthless and insidious assaults from the enemy of all our souls.
