December 26, 2019 at 10:13 amPlease pray for an old friend of mine John McHugh.. He has been battling addiction with drugs and alcohol and is a pathological liar for many years now… I experienced this this summer.. I have known him since elementary school and he really did a number on me…. I am sober 19 years now and it took me a while to notice his problems and I had to find out from his brother that he lied to me about pretty much everything for 5 months. His brother had to make the difficult choice to end his relationship with John and I have found out many other friends have experienced the same.. it has been 10 years since his brother has talked to him. If anyone needs saving it is John…I believe in Jesus and I am praying for a miracle.. thank you for your prayers.. Alyson

December 26, 2019 at 1:29 pmFather in heaven, I pray you will lead John McHugh to the right place, the right person who can communicate the gospel to him. Open his ears to the truth. Open his eyes to the damage he has done to himself and others. Open his heart to repent of his sins. May he choose life. May he desire to live and not die. May he want to do what is right in your sight. Shield him from those companions who would desire for him to continue in bondage with them. Keep them far away from him. May his addictions be repulsive to him. May he think of the Christians in his life who have blessed him. May his heart sorrow for the choices he has made. Bring him to repentance. Bless him with the ability to understand the debt has been paid. May he receive Christ as Lord and Savior. In Jesus name

December 27, 2019 at 9:36 pmFather, your word is truth. I pray that John will somehow be convicted of the lies he actively believes and that fuel his addiction as well as the lies that come from his mouth. Father, you created John, and you know best how to reach this prodigal. I pray for your mercy on John, and for an outpouring of your Holy Spirit in his life.
