ClingingToTheCrossInKYPrayers: 15Requests: 29
January 13, 2023 at 2:09 amI am asking for prayer for my two daughters. The younger one is married and she and her husband invited the older daughter to live with them when they bought a house 2 years ago and the older one pays them rent and part on the other bills. The younger one and her husband attend church at times but the older one does not and she is skeptical about Christianity at best. The older one has been through some terrible things including being molested when she was a child and she has some major depression and mental health issues and actually has Asperger’s as well. The younger daughter has decided to ask the older one to move out because they are starting to have some issues with living together. I agree that they need their own homes but I am so worried about how the older one will respond when she is asked to move out because she feels like that her home is with her sister and she has no idea that she is going to be asked to move out. I am afraid she will feel rejected and that she will feel hurt and alone and I can’t even imagine what it would feel like to be kicked out of what you think is your home. Of course she knows she can come home to my house at any time but I am afraid it will cause a great division between the sisters if it is not handled with wisdom and in God’s timing and we already have such a small family as it is and it just really hurts my heart for the older one to know that she is going to be blindsided with being told to move out and it will hurt her so much. I am praying for the younger sister and her husband that they will wait for God’s wisdom and timing and that they will seek His guidance before just throwing the older sister under the bus. This is such a heavy burden on my heart and my heart is breaking for them both already just knowing that this cannot end well. They plan on telling her next week that she has to move out. Please help me pray that there will be a way this can be done without damage to either of them. I am so very worried especially about the older daughter.

May this family see You at work in their lives and may your love be revealed. Provide what they need and help this situation be resolved in a way that strengthens the family relationship and does not damage it. May You be glorified through the outcome. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

January 14, 2023 at 4:28 pmUPDATE: The younger daughter has realized that she needs to wait on God’s timing and she and her husband have decided to not ask the older daughter to move out at this time. She came to that conclusion without me having to say one word, she told me that she kept seeing things that talk about timing and she and her husband decided the timing is not right. Prayers worked! Thank you all so very much and Praise GOD!!!
