Prayers for my marriage & husbands pornography addiction

    Daily Audio Bible family, I need prayer for my marriage and my husbands addiction to pornography. We have been married for 32 years and have been dealing with this addiction for our entire marriage. My husband accepted Jesus on Easter of 2019. Please pray that he would have a desire to get to know the Lord, develop a personal relationship with Him and read the Bible because I know this would give him strength against the evil one and the strongholds in his life. I am so tired of the vicious cycle in our marriage. Pray that God would give me wisdom to know what to say to my husband, to know when to approach and confront him verses when to just sit back and trust the Lord with silent lips. Pray for wisdom, eyes to see and ears to hear. I love you all and I pray for you each day. Thank you for your prayers. Terry in Australia, I continue to pray for you!     Thank You Jesus that Terry’s husband has accepted you as his Lord and Saviour last Easter. I pray that as he continues to strengthen his relationship with you that he is able to break away from this pornography addiction. I pray that Terry continues to remain a supportive wife and as she asked that you give her the wisdom she needs to help aid him in breaking away from this addiction Lord. Amen. Hey Terry!     Abba Father: I pray for this situation. Thank you that Terry’s husband has accepted You, but now I pray that he is filled with the Holy Spirit, our Teacher, who comes with power and strength. Terry cannot break this alone, but it is not Terry’s help he needs, but Yours. Help him build accountability into his life so when temptation comes he can fight this addiction. Help him find a support group. Speak to Him to look into Your Word for scripture that will renew his mind. I speak to that addiction and command it to LOOSE HIM in the name of Jesus, and be cast far from him. Comfort Terry, restore her self-image as a woman who is the daughter of the Most High King of Kings, and beautiful. Help Terry find support from those who will speak truth to her and help her to be restored. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

    Standing in agreement with these prayers for Melissa and her husband. Lord, You know that this has been an ongoing problem, one that You do not want in his life. Show Melissa what is her next right step. She may need the help of a Christian counselor to help her make some changes in their life. We know that You were tempted and sinned not. Help our brother get to that place of grace. Blessings

    Lord, praying for her husband. Father, i ask that your powerful, loving holy Spirit, that now resides within him, convicts him of this sin. And breaks this chain of addiction off of him. Thank you Father, as only you can, you are repairing the damage that has been made to him because of yielding to this sin. It takes time to change old habits. But the moment he accepted you into his heart. You have been working to bring change. Lord fill his heart with such a love for you, that pleasing you will be all that matters.
    Bless! Melissa, Lord give her the wisdom that she has asked for. Help her to stand in faith, believing that you are working in her husband. We can’t change a person. Only you can. Encourage her Lord, to continue to live the Christ like example out in front of him, and allow you to do the work in his heart.

    Oh God our Father, in the name of Jesus, you’ve been hearing Melissa’s cry. Heal this marriage. No weapon formed against them will prosper. Give her husband a true desire for repentance and turn from this addiction. Father, send an anointed deliverance worker in his path to help cast out those spirits and teach him how to maintain his freedom through your word. Pour your love on Melissa’s husband as only you can. Reach deep inside his heart and remove that desire altogether. Let him find it repulsive. May he receive true freedom. Amen.

    Yes, Lord, we lovingly pray that when he is next tempted to porn, that it will make him physically ill, like having food poisoning – for that is what it is: a poisoning of his heart and mind. Build within him the determination to get help to make this change. Give Melissa Your wisdom to know what she can do to aid Your Holy Spirit. Blessings

    Father, draw near to them and intercede for them, break the bonds of addiction, grant them a renewed heart in your word to sustain them in faith and in love and in hope. May the Holy Spirit full your hearts and fulfill the promises of a happy marriage. Peace be with you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    Our pastor and friend dealt with porn addiction and overcame it. He and his wife have a strong marriage and lead a church. He talked about this recently on a podcast called Rugged 33 with Mario Gomez. God, I pray you will free this man from his addiction and help his to be a strong husband and partner to his wife. Help his wife find strength and wisdom in you, Lord.
