Prayers over a future mission trip

    Hey guys. After feeling led to get involved in missions for a few years, I have taken my first leap. I looked into several local missions that my local church has been a part of, but was led in a different direction than I anticipated.

    I will be leaving in March for a short overseas mission with a group of people from a couple local churches. This has given me anxiety since signing up as I have never flown and will be embarking on an 8 hour flight.

    I would just like to ask for prayers over our journey, over my anxiety, and that Gods will be done along the way.

    I am praying for you! If there’s one thing I know about God, it’s that he’s in the details. Nothing escapes his notice. For years now, he’s been preparing you for this trip and this trip for you. He knows exactly what you need and how to help you. Every twinge of anxiety you feel is on his radar. In fact, every transaction of your cells is laid out before him like a map. Nothing will – or can – take him by surprise. You are not alone on this journey, not for a second. Your Father is taking care of everything. I pray that you will feel that, and like a very young child, you will be able to rest in his strong arms as he carries you safely into this next adventure.

    May God give you peace ! I know the feeling you have , being that you have never flown. Just know and remind yourself that Jesus Christ will be right there with you as you fly so…… Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7)

    Now start thanking God in advance for what He will accomplish through you on your mission trip. I pray for courage and wisdom upon you.

    I pray for protection upon you as you travel to and from your mission trip.

    ‘He who called you is faithful and He will do it’

    Be encouraged, you will find the mission trip exhilarating, you’ll be in the centre of God’s will, the centre of his love, and you will know that you are blessed to be a blessing
