Humble PiPrayers: 1750Requests: 110
June 3, 2023 at 10:01 amFather, I thank You for raising up people who are willing, gifted, and passionate, to pray for the needs of others and Your will. Please, help those who help others. (Casting our bread upon the waters Ecclesiastes 11:1 ) An encouragement and thought to ponder is that bread is more than seed… it has been cultivated, threshed, ground, mixed, fermented, kneaded, raised, pounded again, raised again, shaped into loaves and then baked. A pretty labor intensive product that costs something. God sees the work and knows our hearts. Let us sow in tears and reap with joy in our prayers. Of course it is labor… the product and even the casting. It takes energy to cast something, you are literally flinging the bread out there, not just dropping it into the water(s)… the bread is going somewhere… it will be broken up, dissolved, feeding who knows what and where? only the LORD knows for sure… Let us mix those prayers with faith and the direction of the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 14:23 says, “In all labor there is profit.” I trust Your word, promises and principles standing on the scriptures. Remind us all to be mindful of Your word. John 6:63 NKJV Jesus said, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.” May we all be inspired by Your word and the Holy Spirit and experience that life and be conduits of Your grace to others. “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. NASB 1977. Father, may we all be and stay connected to Jesus, “Yeshua” that we may be Your doers that do, not doers that do, nada. Let us pray Your will and ways according to Your Spirit and, yet, be refreshed. In Matthew 11:28-30 ESV Jesus says, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Let us wear His yoke today and know that He is the LORD of the harvest and knows what He’s doing. Let us rejoice in our roles but more than that, getting to know our Dad and His great love for each one of us as we bring forth His care for His family and the great kingdom harvest before us. God’s got this but wants us in on His unveiling plan and purpose. Thinking about what Paul writes in Eph 5:26… He is transforming us all through the power and blood of His Son and the washing of the water of His word and putting the enemy under our feet in Jesus’ most holy and precious name. Amen.
