Does the young man want to have a relationship with You? Does he want to be the father to his child? Sometime we have let go of some we love. I do not know the entire story, but letting go can be the beginning of something new. Give all to God and you just live for Jesus through the power of Holy Spirit. Concentrate on building a life with Jesus through his word and with fellowship of true believers that can support you. Think also about your child. God is going to with you in the midst of your hurt and pain.

I do not have God’s word on this but sometimes letting go of some you love may be the thing that awakens him to his responsibility and allows God to work in his life. Remember the story of the Prodigal son. Continue to pray for best of the one you love. Pray for his salvation.
