Often when we face trouble, we can be inclined to think that God is absent, unaware, or not concerned. We’re likely to be conscious that the enemy may have a hand in the trouble, or perhaps we’re pre-occupied with the circumstances, the people we’re relating to, our need, or our own short comings. When troubles knocks on the door do we think, no problem, God is here! I don’t mean God is in the trouble, or the source of trouble but as the Scripture says, ‘a very present help’ in the trouble we’re facing. Father, help me to see that when trouble shows up, You got their first. You are not only present but very present. This communicates to me that You’re keen to be there, the God of more than enough, in the trenches with us, ready to help & lift us up! Father, I see the cross in this – God with us – in the trenches – ready to lift us up!! THANKYOU JESUS!
