Prodigal daughter come home

    Our daughter, Athena, left our home the day she turned 18. She dropped out of school her senior year and didn’t finish school. She left to stay with my lost family in Florida that have severe mental issues, substance abuse issues with alcohol and drugs. As opposed to the Florida family encouraging her to stay in our home and work on her own mental issues, they said she needed to leave because she was an adult. We have no communication with her. I do text her and call and leave voice mails but she doesn’t respond. I’m hurt she left and our family is divided now. She has a high calling on her life and I pray for restoration. I did receive a word from the Lord through our pastor last week that she would come home and am Praying she does. I pray she comes to Jesus’s feet and surrenders it all to Him.

    Lord we pray for mental clarity over Athena. Let the lies fall to her feet and never again gain a foothold over her. We pray she finishes her diploma and tunes to hear You everyday. Bless the parents and heal the family. Call the Floridians into the fold. Restore what has been taken oh Lord, in Jesus name, amen.

    I just want to encourage you.. I am a prodigal myself and went away from God between the ages of 17 and 22. I spent time partying and giving not much thought to God. BUT my mum always encouraged me to come to church, most weeks I would say “why on earth would I want to go to church?” but on a few occasions I grumpily said “fine, I’ll come”. To this day I have no explanation of why I went other than the FACT that God was working in my life and wanted me there and on these occasions I was deeply moved in the services and went home knowing I had to change my life and come to God. I got to the point of praying “God, MAKE me want to obey you!” I enjoyed the pleasure of my sinful life but knew it was wrong and longed to be able to change my desires. But I had no control over these and had to ask God to step in and he did! 😀 I know many people were praying for me at this time and their prayers were answered! So please don’t give up hope, hand your daughter over the the Lord and have faith. Trust his timing and love ☺️❤️ God bless xx

    Father in heaven, I pray for the salvation of Athena and the Florida family. You are at work in Florida. There are many excellent churches. I pray that a solid Bible teaching church will reach out to this family today. May a member witness to them wherever they are. May their hearts be open to the gospel. I pray they will be tires of the lies, deceptions of the enemy, empty promises of physical pleasure. May they desire Truth. May they want righteousness. Reach out Lord and draw them in to Your fold. Place Your mark on them. May the enemy flee from them. May they be deserted by wicked companions. May their eyes be open. Their ears hearing again. Bring them to a stop, to their knees. Don’t let them continue on the road to destruction. We are all accountable to You. Only the blood of Jesus can cover our sin and free us from its bondage so we can stand before a Holy God some day. May it come quickly. In Jesus name
