February 18, 2019 at 9:04 amHi. I heard your phone call last week and you have been on my heart since. I’m guessing that by calling yourself “Much Afraid” that you have read Hannah Hurnard’s “Hinds Feet on High Places?” I won’t call you Much Afraid because remember at the end of her journey up the mountain she was renamed “Grace and Glory”. And for each altar she built and laid down her will and surrendered to the Shepherd- each of those little plain stones she picked up to remind her of her surrender became a beautiful jewel that was put into a crown that adorned her head. My sister, I encourage you to remember that you are a daughter and deeply loved by God. You are going through so many things right now but remember that Much Afraid went up the mountain with Sorrow and Suffering as her companions and each time she took their hands and let them help her she was comforted and strengthened. This was the path the Shepherd chose for her and He chose them as her companions. You are not forgotten. Sorrow may come in the night but Joy comes in the morning. Father in the mighty name of Jesus I lift up my sister to you. I pray that you would take her in your arms and comfort her in her sorrow. I pray that your healing oil would pour into every part of her heart and that she would be overwhelmed by Your love right now. I thank you for the call you have placed on her life and I ask that you would refresh her and remind her that no matter the circumstances You Jesus are still on the throne and that she is and will always be accepted into the beloved. No weapon formed against her will prosper; no evil shall befall her and no plague shall enter her dwelling. I cover her with my faith and my prayers and the blood of Jesus to guard and protect her from evil. Father I thank you that all of our times are in your hands, and what capable hands they are! Bless and protect my sister I pray in Jesus Name, and I thank you that Much Afraid is now Grace and Glory. God bless you. I will continue to cover you and your family in prayer. Philippians 1:6
