April 10, 2017 at 8:20 amHi everyone, me and my fiancee are going through some serious relationship problems at the moment. We´ve been together for a long time now and I actually moved countries to be with her and start a new life together so the prospect of this falling apart is quite hard to take, not only from an emotional standpoint but also in terms of the time I have invested into this relationship, and all the sacrifices which have been made along the way. When we met I wasn´t really living the Christian life and God wasn´t the focal point of my life. Since the start of this year I´ve been listening daily to the DAB and have got myself planted in a local church and am spending much more time with God in prayer and I feel so much better for it all. My fiancee is Christian but God really isn´t at the centre of her life. I guess my prayer is for wisdom in terms of whether this relationship is best for me and my walk with God. It´s hard to know if God willing me to fight for the relationship and stand strong in prayer that things will turn around or whether he is closing this door in order to open up something better for me. Thank you all for your prayers in advance!

April 10, 2017 at 8:46 amI pray that you have the wisdom you need in this situation. Having your face turned towards God is great because that is the most important relationship in your life and the perfect start. God wants to build you up and marriage with someone in my view is about you both having to adapt and adjust to the needs of each other, sacrificing often personal desires, it sounds like God has brought you on a journey, but you shouldn’t ever thing that it was just for this purpose, God does not see as we see.
I wonder if now would be the time for a marriage preparation course, I pray if you do this that by the end it would be very clear which way God is pointing you. God bless you and your choices. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.Michaela from GloucesterPrayers: 882Requests: 53

April 10, 2017 at 7:59 pmDear Tim
here are a few questions you want to ask yourself:
1. Is my fiancee pulling me away from God?
2. Can our differences be resolved by simply sitting down together and having dialogue?
3. Is this the woman I want to be with for the rest of my life?
4.What is it really that is causing our relationship differences?
5.Could I also be a part of the difficulty in this relationship?
6. Am I willing to acknowledge my mistakes and learn from them? The answers to the above questions will help determine your way forward , it is that simple.
You know it’s natural that people just don’t like to be in a difficult relationship. But sometimes God puts us in difficult relationships to build our character. It could be that your patience is now really getting tested. Also now that you have been in a relationship for a long time, is there anything concrete stopping you from getting married?
I am glad that you are now getting deeper in your relationship with Christ. Can you pass some of that good energy to your fiancee 🙂 Know that relationships are not easy and at the same time they are not impossible. You just have to know what you want and work out your differences. I see both of you know Christ , it’s just that she needs to be fully committed to Christ, and this is not impossible.
Seek God and He will make it so clear.
Be Blessed.soundyaaPrayers: 3085Requests: 12

April 11, 2017 at 3:47 amFather,
You know what Tim and his fiance need for their relationship, so please intervene. And Father, please help them to both look to You for answers. That the words of their mouths, and the meditation of their hearts are acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, You who is their Rock and Redeemer, I pray, amen.
Will keep praying.
