Religious spirit hurting marriage

    My husband Daniel has a religious spirit who takes him to a dead church every time their doors are open; however, he doesn’t pray or study the Bible with me and I don’t think he knows the Lord. He mistreats me harshly and constantly stonewall me. I’m hurting. Please help me pray for his salvation. I know that if he comes to Christ things will be very different for him and for our marriage. Thank you.

    Yes, Father, we pray for Daniel’s salvation, and also that he will stop mistreating his wife.

    Sister, I encourage you to leave the room, or house, when he starts to mistreat you. You don’t deserve to be treated badly and you don’t have to take it. Your actions will speak louder than your words. You cannot change him. You can change your response. I’m praying for courage and strength for you. ~gail

    Heavenly Father, I stand before your holy altar this day beside this wife and the prayer warriors. I join with this family of intercessors to ask for a spiritual healing of this son along with a miraculous healing of this marriage. I pray for the salvation of Daniel. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I command that any spirits in this home that are not of you will be banished and cast into utter darkness. I pray that your Holy Spirit would fall upon both husband and wife to soften and unify them with Christ as the cornerstone. Father, we fall on our knees before you, interceding for the salvation of this husband. We pray that every action in this home can be transformed into a motion that draws them to you. I pray that any spirts of superiority or unforgiveness will be banished so that this couple begin their walk with you equally yoked.

    Amen. Abba, Father! You are the God Who Restores Marriages. Thank You for this dear wife’s discernment to know how the Body should direct their prayer. We pray for Daniel that he come to know You, dear Lord. It is no accident that his name means “God is My Judge.” Show him the true way to Your Heart and open his heart to the Love You have for him. Father, we call upon You to break the chains over Daniel, the familiar spirits that would keep him bound to works. Father, we pray protection over his dear wife. Grant that she know immediately when she needs to flee when resisting the evil one. Lord, glorify Your Name in this marriage. How we Love You and Honor Your Name!

    Father in heaven, I pray you will breathe life into this dead church. I pray the pastor will become sensitive to your leading. May his message feed the flock that come to this church. Bring all to a place of repentance. I pray this husband will cry out to you for help. May he repent of his sin of harshness and cruelty. May he cry out for salvation. May he trust you to strengthen his new man. In Jesus name
