February 5, 2022 at 10:22 amWisdom to retire. I am 68 in April. My wife is diabetic and on disability. I have a good job that pays well and great medical benefits. But caring for my wife and doing all the household chores is affecting my job performance and I am growing weary of my job. My main reason for working is for the medical insurance. We have no savings after being unemployed for 2 years. We know God is our provider, and to retire is a big decision. Thanks!

February 5, 2022 at 2:00 pmI retired in August due to health issues. I have to say that I too was worried about money and health insurance. Working had become difficult on several levels. The moment I handed in my resignation, I felt the burden being lifted! The Lord has provided for me in ways I could not have imagined! It is a big decision. But remember, nothing that happens is a surprise to God.

February 6, 2022 at 1:40 pmHave you tried asking the LORD to give you peace over what your decision should to be? When you think about each choice, which one gives you more peace? The Bible tells us to be lead by peace. And we are to let peace rule as an umpire.
COLOSSIANS 3:15 (AMPC)
“And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].”
Look inside to the peace giver, and allow peace to make your decision. In JESUS NAME. Amen! 💓
