June 9, 2022 at 9:52 amDear sister spiritdoc1, I’d have to disagree on this one. I personally don’t believe that it would be pleasing to God if we were to exclude anyone from being able to participate in this great prayer ministry. As long as they are civil with their tongue, and the things they post or say aren’t demeaning or inflammatory. Our God is a welcoming God, who welcomes anyone who is thirsty to come and to participate in His Kingdom. Our God beckons to all, “And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (Rev. 22:17b) BLESSINGS! I appreciate you. 💓

June 10, 2022 at 9:11 amI have been on many retreats and have heard many testimonials. Most if not all of them told a story of amazing transformations and or of how they were saved from a horrible life of sin I was raised in the Catholic faith. Yes, for the most part I was a good Catholic girl. I am not sure when I came to know Jesus because I can’t really remember a time in my life I did not know him. I have had times when I absolutely knew without a doubt Jesus was speaking to me and I not only listened but followed his instructions, and times when I wasn’t sure if that voice was his or my own hearts desire filling in the moment of silence or speaking louder than his voice. I have had several things happen that have rocked my world to the core, I’ve had people tell me how my faith was inspirational and just told them that it wasn’t me but the Lord’s strength in me that they should admire because it was all I could do not to fall to pieces and even after reflecting back on those events and tribulations I know it was the Lord Jesus that carried me out of the desert during those dark times. Even now I am fighting doubts over my weaknesses and insecurities as I am reaching the edge of the desert with Moses wondering if like Moses I will return to the desert or if I have learned the lesson the Lord was teaching me and like Joshua just need to apply that lesson and trust that I will enter the promise land and leave that desert behind me. I feel that my testimony is only an average story one that would not inspire anyone and that my desert was not very dark but I also believe that one day within the complete details of my struggles and how God intervened and continues to carry me every day I will be able to relate to that one person(s) that is a part of God’s plan for my testimony.

June 10, 2022 at 9:17 amSpiritdoc1 I agree with goingupsoon. This I feel would discourage people like me who do not feel their testimony is a worthy one or one that has been answered yet and continue to struggle

June 10, 2022 at 9:30 amMy dear sister lizziekw, I personally love your testimony. It encourages me as it reveals the LORD’S faithfulness to walk with us each and every day. I’ve always believed that those who’ve known that LORD, and walked consistently with Him from the time they were young, have the greater testimony. BLESSINGS! Thank You for sharing what’s on your heart. Looking for His soon return, your brother in CHRIST — David — goingupsoon. ❤

June 10, 2022 at 10:05 amDear fellow Dabbers, Even though I have many testimonies throughout my life, (everyday just breathing in His grace and knowing He is present is a testimony), the one that makes me realize how quickly He can answer prayers is one of my favorites..After my husband went home to be with our Lord, I went to visit my brother and his family in Texas. They wanted to show me the Gulf of Mexico since I had never been to any coastal area before. While driving down to Galveston, there was a lot of traffic on the two-lane highway, basically bumper-to-bumper. The four of us were just visiting and playing road games to pass the time. I put my head between the two front seats to say something to my brother and his wife, and when I looked out the windshield, there was a car barreling down our lane coming straight for us! I quickly moved behind the seat, embraced for the impact and said a silent prayer as were the other three family members. Not one word nor gasp was heard, just silence except for the words from our hearts and spirits. When I opened my eyes after praying one of the shortest prayers I have ever said, “Oh dear God, HELP”. Out the side window was the car flying through the ditch safely. My sister-in-law who was driving said she had kept trying to turn the steering wheel to the right to go down into the ditch, but it would not turn. God saved us all that day from certain horrific injuries and/or death. He also spared the lives of the other people as well. In an instant, the Lord heard our prayers and answered them without hesitation! God loves us and is with us always!!
