January 5, 2017 at 4:36 pmI am very sorry on the loss of your son Tyler. May The Lord God comfort you.
Please remind Garrett that the battle belongs to the Lord- Jesus. The feeling of guilt/ despair/ unworthiness all comes from the enemy of our soul-Satan. The enemy seeks whom he may devour , that is what he did thousands of years ago when he got Cain to kill his brother Abel and that is what he is doing in this present age. His tactics have not changed. Once we recognize that , then we as believers in Christ can overcome the enemy of our soul.
Please agree with me on the prayer below:Our Dear Father in heaven,
We honor your name this day and we come to you seeking help for Garrett. We ask that you deliver him from the chains of addition to drugs in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that you may set him free from the enemy of our souls. We ask that by the power of the Blood of Jesus you may wash him clean , renew his mind, renew his body, renew his will , renew his spirit and conform his thoughts and actions to things that please you oh Lord.Thank you Lord Jesus . In you matchless name we pray .Amen

January 6, 2017 at 1:55 amIn Jesus name, I come into agreement with my sister in prayer over Garrett!
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19Testimony:
I have witnessed first hand my own nephew healed and restored from severe drug addiction. He started using when he was 12 years old, as he got older he was diagnosed by doctors with Schizophrenia. He wouldn’t eat, he believed that satan was trying to kill him, he walked miles for his drug and locked himself up in his bedroom days at a time in darkness! He was in and out of rehab several times and went to jail. Through much prayer and by the power of our Lord and Savior, my nephew was delivered from drugs and on fire for the Lord! Although he has much work ahead of him, he is a changed person preaching the Gospel to those in the same situation! Praise God and I am believing the same for Garrett, nothing is impossible with our mighty God!Our testimonies are to give hope and Glorify the Lord for his goodness!

January 7, 2017 at 4:47 amWhat can you say to someone who has gone through what you have? No one ever really prepares you to deal with addiction. I know by having siblings who are highly addictive that Satan and his minions don’t fight fair. They come at you with every weapon in their arsenal, and just when you think you can breathe, the battle begins anew.
I can’t imagine there is much I can tell you about this type of battle – about how God goes through the madness with you; holding you up when you can’t stand on your own, and there are no words that I could say that might conceivably heal in the way I would hope they would, so all I will say is I’m glad the DAB community is here to listen and pray for both of you.
May God be with you every moment in this nightmare, may He send His angels with and before both you and Garrett to protect you and keep you, and may God bring Garrett through the valley of addiction into a restored life; healed and whole.
Father God, Satan and his minions don’t fight fair, but we stand in the name of the Living God! I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen!
Know that you and Garrett are in our prayers, and in His Mighty Hands,Vicki

Oh Heavenly Father, please lead dear Garrett to a Christian rehab program and please heal him from the disease of addiction. Lord, use his healing to lead many to Your saving grace. Please dear Master, provide Garrett’s loved ones with strength and knowledge of how to best support him. Soften his heart dear Lord.
