Amen! so good my brother. We should all stop, and take pause, at what You’ve stated here today. SPEAK LIFE! Lord, let these two words penetrate deep into our hearts. You have instructed us concerning the power, that our words contain. Pv. 18:21, Death, and life are in the words that we allow to pass over our lips. You have warned us too, that we will be held accountable, on the day of judgement for every idle word that we speak. Matt.12:36. James 3:5, exhorts us saying, that “the tongue being a little member, yet it boasteth great things. Behold, how great a great a matter a little fire kindleth”. He goes on to say, Ja. 3:6, “the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity; so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell itself”. Let us consider our ways, and choose wisely the words that we speak. For truly, we are either bring life about. Or, we are destroying life with the words of our mouths. James in verse 8, same chapter. Says, “But the tongue can no man tame; it is unruly evil, full of deadly poison”. Father, we in our own strength, can’t control our tongue. But, thankfully, we have been given the Holy Spirit. Who will help us to speak right words, that give life. Help us to stay yielded to Him. And to allow Him to formulate the words that we should be speaking. We know that He is the life giver, empower us to emulate Him, in all that we do, and say.
