[PEACE] – is Biblically defined as: Wholeness, total health, total welfare. It covers the sum total of God’s blessings to a person who belongs to the covenant community.
Biblical [PEACE] is – Knowing that the LORD of the universe is by your side and resting in that. It’s not just knowing, but it is also living it out. Biblical [PEACE] is sitting in comfort and knowing that God is next to your side no matter what.

May 1, 2023 at 12:13 pmGod’s gift of [PEACE]
God’s [PEACE] — His shalom — gives assurance that all is right in your soul, even if you can’t resolve all the issues affecting you or predict the outcome of anything at this point. God’s [PEACE] provides us the assurance that God is still in control. As the old hymn lyrics go, It is well with my soul, It is well — it is well — with my soul.

May 1, 2023 at 12:59 pmLikewise, The phrase in Jewish prayer that represents completeness and the pursuit of becoming closer to God’s love is “Shalom.” It is a Hebrew word that is commonly translated as “peace,” but it goes beyond just the absence of conflict. Shalom encompasses the idea of wholeness, completeness, and fullness of life in all areas – physical, emotional, and spiritual.
In Jewish prayer, Shalom is used as a greeting and a farewell, representing the desire for peace and harmony in all relationships. It is also used in blessings, where it symbolizes the hope for God’s peace to fill every aspect of the recipient’s life. Moreover, Shalom is a central concept in Jewish theology, representing the ultimate goal of human life, which is to be reconciled with God and to experience His love and mercy fully.By praying for Shalom, Jewish believers acknowledge their dependence on God and seek to align their lives with His will. They recognize that true completeness and wholeness can only be found in God’s presence and His love. By pursuing Shalom, Jewish believers strive to become closer to God and to live in harmony with His purposes for their lives. Growing in wisdom and stature is an important aspect of our spiritual journey as believers. It means that we are not stagnant in our faith, but we are constantly growing and maturing in our relationship with God. In Luke 2:52, it is written that “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” This verse shows us that even Jesus, as the Son of God, had to grow in wisdom and stature, and so it is also necessary for us as believers to do the same.
