August 2, 2023 at 10:00 amAlthough she pursued him day after day, Joseph would not consent to sleep with her and refused to be alone with her. Genesis 39:10 After being thrown in a pit and then sold into slavery by his brothers, Joseph could have been bitter and angry, but he kept doing the right thing. How could he keep a good attitude after all the negative things that happened to him? When his owner’s wife tried to seduce him, Joseph could have thought, “I have nothing to lose. It’s not going to hurt anything. What difference does it make? Just do it.” He could have let his guard down and compromised, but Joseph stayed faithful, loyal, and committed. Where did he get the strength to withstand the temptation? Where do you get the strength? The Scripture says that God will not let you face anything that you can’t handle and that He will provide a way of escape. It is God giving you the grace and enabling power to say no and walk away from the temptation. Tap into more of that can-do power. Start declaring, “I can handle this. I can do all things through Christ. I am strong in the Lord.” In the power of HIS might.

August 2, 2023 at 12:02 pmWhen you’re in need of strength, to withstand temptation. đź’˘Remember that God is the number one healer and can guide you in endless ways. If your heart and life are centered on God, His Word and His Holy Spirit, you can rest assured that He will direct your path. God’s primary means for giving us guidance is in the Bible. Proverbs 16:9 says, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” The Lord is literally with you every step of the way, strengthening you and keeping you. 💢💢If you’re ready to trust in God’s ability to direct your life, pray this prayer: Father, as I arise today, I pray that Your strength pilot me, Your power uphold me, and Your wisdom guide me. May Your eye look before me, Your hand protect me and Your shield and defend me. In the magnificent name of JESUS! AMEN🙏🏻❤️🕊
