Heavenly Father, I stand before your throne of mercy and grace to praise you for the gift of Maria’s life to her family and her community. I join in the prayers for Maria’s healing from this stroke and for the protection and security of her son during the time she is healing. Father, we believe that you can instantaneously heal Maria such that she could rise up and walk away from the hospital she is in even now. I pray that you would allow this miracle to occur, so that this miraculous healing could be a living testimony of your power and your love. However, we also believe that you know best how to answer our pleas for healing, and we live our lives in complete submission to your wisdom. If you choose not to heal Maria instantaneously, then I pray that you would quickly guide Maria out of the valley of suffering and uncertainty as soon as you have harvested the lessons of faith that you have woven into this tragedy. Right now, I pray that you would calm Maria’s fears by speaking into her heart and mind your comfort and reassurance that you are in control, and all is well. Raise up other prayer warriors to intercede for Maria and her family so that the heavens resound with prayers on her behalf. In your mercy and compassion, Father, hear our prayers. Let the blood of Jesus do its perfect work of healing and fully restoring Maria.
