Hi Everyone, if you wouldn’t mind would you please keep my Dad (Maurice) and my mom (Sandy) of ND in your prayers? My Dad has an extreme case of shingles and it is effecting his eye. He initially went into the eye doctor on Friday 11/12/21 where they gave him medication for a bacterial infection. He went back in on Saturday 11/13/21 as it was worse and the eye doctor then said they thought it was shingles and prescribed a medium dose of steroids for that. Today 11/14/21 my mom forced him to go to urgent care (my Dad doesn’t like going to the doctor). They went into urgent care and my Dad fainted and so they ended up transporting him from urgent care to the ER to check on him and to await an appointment at with an eye specialist/doctor. They are concerned about potential blindness from this. They are keeping him at least overnight in the hospital for monitoring as it is also in his nasal cavities and it could effect the brain if it spreads. My Mom is very anxious as is my Dad.
