Thank you for praying for my son Joel

    Thank you for praying for my son Joel. He has a drinking problem. He is going to counseling and we are praying for a good result. He is almost 30 and not married. I am praying for a “GODLY” wife to help him be the “GODLY” man he should be. I have another son, Micah, who has a court date coming up next week. Please pray that “GOD’S Will” be done for the good of all concerned.

    Father God, I thank you for the gift of your sons, Joel and Micah, and for entrusting us with the privilege to intercede for their healing. I ask that you grant an extra measure of mercy and grace for these parents. I pray that you would encourage these parents, so that they can be fully available to support their children during the time they are in need. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray that Satan and his warriors of darkness will be cast out from this home and from the lives of Joel and Micah so that they can be restored to their Lord and Savior. Father, I pray that these sons will come to the knowledge of the truth, and come to a place of full repentance and reconciliation with you. If the disease of substance abuse is an issue, then I pray that you will lead them to resources for recovery and sobriety. I pray that you would show both of these young men the pathway that you intended for them. Father, I thank you that nothing is too difficult for you, and I thank you that your healing of these sons and the reconciliation with you is not dependent on our faith.

    Lord, I pray for these sons. I thank you for the blessing of the life you created in Joel and Micah and ask for your supernatural intervention into each of their specific hearts. Show them each the light of your love in ways they’ve never known. Draw them unto yourself and grant to them the grace to come to you, living in new wisdom, faith and maturity that will bring glory to your kingdom. Nothing is impossible for you, God. I ask that you strengthen the faith of this parent and hold them fast, no matter the circumstances. Let their every move be in love and care for their sons.

    Heavenly Father ,

    I want to thank you for this dear mother !!
    The names Joel and Micah !! What beautiful names these are !!! Father will you please intervene in the lives of these sons?? Will you please stretch forty your mighty hands over these sons and lead them to the right path ? Will you please prepare a beautiful godly bride for Micah ? Will you please soften the hearts of these sons and help them accept (the TRUTH )through your son our Lord and Savior.

    Thank you Lord for what you are already doing .

    Standing in agreement with all these prayers for Joel and Micah and for their parents. Father help each of these young men desire You above all else, above alcohol, above relationships. Grant godly success to Joel in conquering alcoholism. Grant Your favor on Micah in this upcoming court proceeding. Keep working in their lives and grow them into men of God. Bless their parents for bringing this prayer request to the DAB body of Christ. ~gail

    We return to your throne of grace this day, persisting in our prayers for Joel and Micah. Let your love replace dependence on any substance. We pray for the redemption of both Joel and Micah.
