July 14, 2020 at 8:50 amPlease pray for my husband and I today. We we bought tickets many weeks ago to visit family in the Midwest (we have had to cancel this trip twice already because of things out of our control). We are supposed to leave this coming Saturday. Anyway, our state issued the strictest travel restrictions in the country two weeks ago. They are set to expire tomorrow, but we expect that our governor will probably renew them. If we go, we will be required to quarantine for two weeks upon return. On top of this, we also have other personal reasons we are unsure about traveling right now. But we also wonder if this will be the best time to go and we should just do it anyway. Ugh, We keep going back and forth trying to figure out what we should do. We never thought a simple decision like traveling back home would be so incredibly stressful. Please pray that God gives us wisdom and clear direction.

July 14, 2020 at 10:44 amI hear you, sister. We are in the same boat. Cancelled 5 trips we had planned to go to SoCal to visit our son and grandchildren. Uggh. Every time we call and talk to the boys, they ask us if we want to come to their house. Yes. We. Do. But. Aren’t. Allowed. To. Travel. I’ve had the same uneasiness about traveling as it will require us to stay in a hotel/motel. For us, as long as one of us feels uneasy, we don’t go. It’s a tough time, requiring great sacrifice.
Lord, give my sister Your wisdom about their upcoming trip. Make it clear to her whether they should go, or not. And give her and her husband peace regarding their decision. Blessings

July 14, 2020 at 10:55 amLord, we claim James 1:5 which reminds us that “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and will be given to him.”
Earlier this week, I was struggling with a task. I stopped thanked God for the day and asked for wisdom. Within an hour, He guided me to look at my task from a different perspective. It made all the difference, and I was able to finish my task. He’s done this so many times in my life, I recommend it to you. ~gail
