Hello Dear DAB Family, this is my first prayer request. Thank you in advance for any who wish to pray for me. This is the first time in my 50 years I feel I helpless to solve a problem. About 9 weeks ago I started experiencing burning sensations in my pelvic region (bladder and uterus). It wasn’t an urinary tract infection and a pelvic Ultrasound indicated everything is intact structurally. The issue continues to worsen unless I don’t eat. After copious online research I think it could be an Overactive Bladder, Interstitial Cystitis, Endometriosis attached to the Bladder Wall, scar tissue adhering to the Bladder from a C-section or a combination therein. I have just began seeing a Physician and he will be sending me for tests. Physiotherapy to learn how to strengthen my pelvic floor muscles is also helping. I’m scared to eat and I don’t want to rely on pain medication. I feel as though I am on this terrible emotional, mental, physical and spiritual roller coaster ride. I’ve been off work for a couple weeks to deal with this and I’m not sure if I should take more time off. Thankfully I can access short term disability if needed. I’m having trouble thinking about anything but my health. I’m praying…but it’s so difficult to trust Jesus for ever minute that ticks by and the pain is there. I’m very frightened. I live alone and due to COVID restrictions my life is isolated. In other ways I can’t talk about my issue with friends/family because I don’t want to burden them with something they can’t help me with. I really need help and prayer to cope and God willing overcome this infirmity. With my deep gratitude for your support.
