Hello, I wanted to provide an update for the prayer request I posted back in July for my father-in-law who was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. At the time he was starting a new treatment plan because his cancer wasn’t improving with the initial treatment plan. Last week he had a bone marrow biopsy done and yesterday he had another PET scan and both results show that his cancer has gotten worse and relapsed. With this biopsy and PET scan we were hoping that they would show the cancer was in remission because then he would be eligible to move forward with a stem cell transplant (praise God that a donor who’s a 100% match has been found!), but because his cancer has relapsed, my father-in-law will need to start a new chemo regiment. He starts this new treatment tomorrow. Please pray that, with the new chemo regiment, my father-in-law’s (he goes by HP) cancer will go into remission and that he will have minimal side effects. Ultimately praying for God’s miraculous healing so that both of my husband’s parents can return to the States from Singapore in time for mine and my husband’s wedding celebration in two months, at the beginning of December.
