January 17, 2022 at 10:42 amThis is the 3rd and final post regarding my sons & their crew working tornado relief in Mayfield, KY. They arrived back home yesterday (Sunday) afternoon before any snow arrived with amazing stories of provision. They helped cleanup a 15 acre area…getting debris to roadside for removal by FEMA. They were able to rent two skid steers for less than the price of one. They served about 1,000 meals…the supply of food they took with them was gone before day 2 had really begun. They bought more and at the end of that day a supply of ground beef and corndogs for the next day was just dropped off to them. God supplied financial donations just as $$ was running out. They served locals who were hungry & hurting, relief workers and donated leftover food (yes, Jesus multiplied and there were leftovers!!) and finances as they packed up for home. God’s faithfulness was overwhelming. My oldest said it was by far the most meaningful thing he’d ever done, even outranking his USMC service. The whole team was touched for a lifetime. Many thanks to all whose prayers supported them and most of all glory to God for all He has done!!
