Ears To Hear

“Let these saying sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.” (Lu. 9;44)

There is a direct connection between hearing the WORD and being healed. Sadly many people are not being healed because they are either not hearing at all, or they are not hearing enough.

Someone may say, “Well, I heard the WORD: I know what it says; but it didn’t work for me.” No!, that’s not possible. The WORD always works. Sometimes we fail to receive the benefits of the WORD, but the WORD – NEVER FAILS. The failure is on our part.

When JESUS told His disciples, “Let these sayings sink down into your ears,” He meant that we must hear the WORD over and over and over with our spiritual ears – the ears of our inner man – until those truths finally get down inside of us and take root.

Only then will we be able to receive the benefits of healing that are rightfully ours.

Prayer:

Father help me to incline my “ear” to You WORD. And hear it, and hear it, and hear it, until it sinks down into my spirit so it can then produce fruit in my life. I now declare! The WORD of God always works, and it’s working mightily in me, driving out all sickness and disease, and producing health and wellness in my body.
