March 17, 2020 at 7:59 amPlease pray for my wife. She struggles with anxiety and depression, and it keeps her from making friends or getting involved in some church stuff. I asked her recently why she doesn’t read her Bible, and she was more open than I expected. She said she still didn’t understand why one of her childhood friends committed suicide two years ago. It really shook her when it happened, but I guess it’s still resounding in her. I’m trying to be as supportive as I can with that. But I just don’t see much of Christ in her sometimes. And maybe that’s for several reasons, but the way she acts around people at church and the way she talks about them when we’re home really upset me. They don’t seem like the way a Christian should talk or feel about fellow believers. Please pray that she would have eyes to see and ears to hear what God is doing in her life, and please pray that God would give me the grace to continue supporting her and loving her.

March 17, 2020 at 9:58 amSometimes all we can do is ask God to reveal Himself through us as we pray for wisdom and healing. Father God, I join this brother in praying for his wife. Lord we ask for your healing to reach into her wounded soul from this experience that has sown a seed of confusion and doubt in her. Holy Spirit we ask that you shine your light into this situation. Reveal the areas that need to be released and let go of. Make clear the truth that needs to uproot and replace the lie that has taken root. Father, grant this son of yours the wisdom, grace, love and patience he needs to help his wife return to a place of wholeness and peace. Lord, give her eyes to see how her words and actions affect those around her and also continue to seep poison into her own soul. Lord, send your help to this brother that he may continue to stand in Your presence. In Jesus Name. Amen
