October 16, 2020 at 3:05 pmHi team, I have two request. 1. I need prayer to increase my confidence. I’m 46years old and this has been my shortfall for as long as I can remember. This has affected my life mentally and physically. I’m a nurse in the Emergency Department and this has been highlighted by seniors. Please pray with me as God has allowed me to be a nurse and I don’t want to let Him down 2. I want to loose weight but I have no will power. I am frustrated but still have no willpower. I don’t even believe myself that I want to loose weight but I swear I do. My belly is huge, it’s affecting my breathing and I look horrible. I tell myself I’m beautiful as my beauty comes from within but I still would like to look good for me. Please pray for me

October 16, 2020 at 4:29 pmAbba: I intercede for this Your child’s cries for help. Holy Spirit, teacher her that she is made in the image of Christ. Teach her that the enemy is lying to her, and she must resist the enemy and believe what YOU say about her. Remind her to say “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and He does all things well. The enemy would bind her with fear, but You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and a sound mind. Look up and see that God loves you and created you and will never leave your side. As for losing weight, Abba, teach her it is one hour at a time, and never more than one day at a time. Holy Spirit, teach her a plan for each day – what to eat for breakfast, and then to pack lunch and planned snacks, and when the stomach growls to offer that as an offering to You – that You will help her conquer her inner “self” that tells her to eat to comfort herself. She will get her comfort from You. When she is weak You are strong. Teach her to say “Not my will but YOUR will be done, and that her body is a temple. Teach her to resist the devil and he will flee. This is not about willpower but obedience and sacrifice. Offer all your weaknesses to Him and lean on Him. He is speaking to You to trust Him each morning for that day. I pray that she will accept the surrender this requires, but that You will be with her every step of the way. She is Your precious child. I pray these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.

October 16, 2020 at 7:03 pmGracious heavenly Father, You are so over the top in love with Your daughter. Lord, help her to see this. That You look on the inside. It’s us who are drawn to focus on our outward appearance. To You, we are perfect, and beautiful in Your eyes. Dear jemtomllnson, The Lord, desires even more than you, that You feel good about yourself. Father, help our dabber friend to have confidence in herself. Seeing herself the way that You see her. Will help her to have the confidence that she desires. Having a poor self image, tends to make us feel less confident. And potentially yield to things like eating to much in order that we feel better. I know this from my own experience.
Lord, help your beloved, by placing in her a strong desire to get slimmer. And help her to understand that our words that we speak, directly affect what we experience in our lives. Pv. 18:21. “There’s death and life, in the power of the tongue”. To say, continually, i have no willpower is counter productive. In truth, she is having what she says. Better to confess, i have strong will power. And speak life.
Abba, You see her struggle, to get to the place where she desires to be. Help her not to try and do this on her own, in her own strength. Lead her to find comfort from Your Word. and to meditate on verses that speak to who she is in You. The ( In Him), and (In whom) and (By Him) scriptures. Help her to soak in Your promises until the create a new image on the inside. Change always starts on the inside first. Seeing herself as You see her, is key to turning things around.
Bring friends along side of her who will encourage her, Maybe someone from church, who are also, trying to self improve. She could possibly, start a program together with them to achieve their goals. Working out at the gym, or at home through a fitness program may help. Taking long walks. There are many ways to get to where we want to be physically.
Father we pray that she leans on You for support. And that there will be a noticeable change on the inside of her. And, a new found desire to start to make some changes. We confess, that her life will never be the same again. Because of the lover of her souls unrelenting, everlasting, love for her.
Praying in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen!
Beloved -
