With Windfarm Guatemalan, Look for a sweet balanced acidity with a round body, notes of lemon-lime citrus, and hints of chocolate, walnuts, and almonds. It is roasted to a lighter to medium profile and will leave your palate clean and longing for another sip.
Origin Notes: Windfarm Guatemalan is a farm direct sourced coffee from the Ixil region in the Quiche district of Guatemala. This coffee was personally sourced through a friend of Mission Coffee Roasters in Colorado Springs who grew up farming in Guatemala. He helped make the connection to this fair trade and partially women grown co-operative. Improving gender equality, beekeeping, education (a school for the community), micro-loans, computer training, and continual improvement of their coffee quality are some of the goals and benefits of the co-op’s participation in the fair trade program.
Why sell coffee and tea here? Because it’s something the majority of us consume each day. This coffee isn’t your normal, “off the shelf” variety. These beans are specially selected and roasted specifically for the Daily Audio Bible community. The tea isn’t grocery store grade either. This is premium boutique grade. We’re bothering with this because it’s something you’re going to buy anyway. It’s premium quality and the profits don’t go to a corporation they are directly invested into the mission here. Order now and have it delivered to your door. Better yet subscribe to the coffee club and have it automatically delivered every month. Get a bag of ground or whole bean or grab a 5lb bag and enjoy!
